Environmental Activism - The Little Picture

Ok, you have signed all the petitions, you have written all the letters, your Earth Day signs are leaning in the corner; Now what must YOU do to stop plundering your environment.

Environmentalism is more than saving the planet. Environmentalism is about learning to save yourself and your community. We have to go beyond the slogan shouting and flag waving to make our earth sustainable. We have to practice and re-learn how to live in the world that will be our future. The government will not save you. Come learn some of the “Hows” and “Whys” that will hopefully help us all to secure our future!

As always, our meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at Californos located at 4124 Pennsylvania in Westport, Kansas City, Missouri at 7:00 pm. The telephone number for Californos is (816) 531-1097

We look forward to seeing you May 7th.
